Sand in my Shoes

The lab group shut down yesterday and we hit the beach.

Yum, what a relaxing and fun day! Just what I needed, what with this research deadend I've seemed to come up against. Had a great time with my lab group. I think just about every single one of us needed a break.

I'm afflicted with beach blues, though. I was perfectly happy to ignore its existence these past weeks, but now that I've gone, I can't get it out of my head and I just want to go back! *wah!*

Friends from college come into town on next Friday and take over my life for a weekend. Can't wait. Until then, I try to work.

Game 7 tonight. Go Pistons!
