Hi Em! I hope you’re having a good time in England. I just have a quick question. I just set up the reduction and it turned black when I added the LAH. Is it supposed to do that?

I can’t get the diastereomers separated using the conditions you used! Am I missing something?

Just get back to the wedding. Seriously. We’ve unplugged her computer from the network now.

Been making good organizational progress on the story since getting back. It's very gratifying to start including breaks for chapters; I'm really starting to see where I still need to flesh out. I've been stringing scenes together so that the plot almost reads completely now. Still have to insert a few things here and there, but I'm pretty pleased :)

I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow! Yipppeee!

LOL!

How Harriet-like! *snicker* Goes to Emma, even when she's thousands of miles away in England, rather than asking her friends and co-chemists who are three paces away! And *snicker* about disconnecting her from the network!

Keep it up. Can't wait to read the whole. I think it is a brilliant idea to put all the heroines into a single story, and it is a unique basis for a story--and unique bases are lacking lately.

Hilarious! I especially love the bit about disconnecting her from the network. I somehow have a little difficulty imagining the sweet-but-simple Harriet in a brain-box environment like Caltech, but fiction is all about suspension of disbelief, right?

I look forward to reading more more more!
