Yes, Still alive...

Why is it that when things actually get interesting for me I have absolutely no time whatsoever to post on it? :p

Anyhow, the past two weeks have been intense, but I'm taking a breath of "fresh" air (well, as fresh as it gets here, anyhoo) before diving into the intricate mess of picking out Christmas gifts.

( Two things this past weekend that made my last two weeks messy )

I'm going home to Michigan in a few days (YAY)...but until then there is an important reaction to research and set up, and my boss's birthday party to attend...it's still a bit to do, but I'm happy.

The weather is finally improving here (however temporarily). It got up to the 80s this past weekend and it's still sunny. That's good, because I missed the sun. Really, I'm getting so spoiled with the weather that when it isn't pretty I just feel miserable and unhappy...which is especially strange because it's even colder/rainier/grayer in the places where I used to live, and I wasn't unhappy there...So Cal does strange things to people...
