As for what to be more happy about, you can be happy about both things because getting your doctorate and being published in Science are both fantastically awesome things to be happy about, and no one deserves to be happy about their accomplishments more than you do, so BRAVA my favorite Happy Chemist ;)!!
P.S. This might be a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyways: after you defend on Monday, do you officially get your PhD? Or are you only a Doctor after you physically get your diploma?
