Bleah.

It's the longest day of the summer for me; the day of the All-Star break where there's absolutely NOTHING going on in major league baseball. Fortunately/unfortunately, I am distracted by tight nerves; I unleash group meeting #5 to the unsuspecting labmates. And it's a beast. A horrific, weird, confusing beast. But it's awesome. I think. I like it, at least.

T-minus 5 hours until group meeting.

Dad sent me his bijillion pics from Taiwan, so I'll put something together for a trip summary soon. Prolly still before [livejournal.com profile] the_marchioness gets around to posting about Ireland. :p *sorsas!*

Awesome weekend to look forward to: San Luis Obispo/Hearst Castle with [livejournal.com profile] bijoux, [livejournal.com profile] jennlynnfs, and Elizabeth S! WOOT!

You could follow minor league baseball. I recommend the Savannah Sand Gnats, an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. (Gnats! Get it??)

R and I went to a good cafe in SLO during our vacation after we left Pasadena. It is painted a happy blue and yellow on the outside and has one of those glass counters with yummy pastries on display. http://www.splashcafe.com
