DC Summary

My trip was entirely too short; I had a really really fantastic time with the_marchioness, and met up with a variety of high school friends, college friends, and relatives. SOOO busy, but so much fun! And that's not even including the chemistry! Anyhow, I'm back in (non-humid) Los Angeles, and sadly, I didn't bring a camera, so all I'm left with is a bunch of the_marchioness's romance novels and memories. And a "DC American Chemical Society" magnet. And really pretty shoes.

there's a really fab guy doing hot stuff with zinc finger proteins; i think his chemistry is REALLY sexy and my boss things he'd be a good person to work for...:p

Well, I told my mom about the post-bac program at Georgetown, and how I didn't really want to apply/go because a) the tuition is ginormous, and b) I'd have to live in Georgetown (or thereabouts), but my mom was like "You should apply for it anyway" :O, so maybe I will, just to see if I get in (though I'd much prefer a grad program somewhere in CA).
